Kayangan Lake

One of the most famous Coron lake. Stunning, crystal-clear waters surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, and breathtaking views of the landscape from the viewpoint. Note that this place can get quite full of tourists because of its popularity, so best to go early. There are also steep steps to get to the lake.

Barracuda Lake

Near Kayangan lake. Unique underwater rock formations, layers of fresh and saltwater, and dramatic temperature shifts that create a surreal swimming experience in one of the most tranquil waters. Also can get quite full because of popularity.

Twin Lagoon

Remarkable natural phenomenon where two lagoons, one hidden behind limestone cliffs, are accessible to each other only through a narrow crevice, offering a unique swimming and snorkeling experience in waters that blend warm and cool layers. Some prefer to swim around, while others prefer a kayak. Note that this spot can get quite full because of popularity.

Entrance fee: PHP 200 / person

Pukaway Cave Underground Lake

One of the newer tourist destinations, still near the other lakes and lagoons. A more expensive entrance fee (PHP 500 / person), but definitely a sight to see. Requires a quick rocky trek and tight entrance to the cave, but well worth it because of the fun experience swimming in the crystal clear waters of the cave. They also have a see-through kayak inside the cave you can use for free. Make sure to bring goggles / snorkel to see the rock formations below the water.

Malcapuya Island

Malcapuya Island is a slice of paradise in Coron, renowned for its powdery white sand beaches and vibrant coral reefs that make it a perfect destination for relaxation, sunbathing, and some of the best snorkeling in the area, with clear, turquoise waters that are teeming with marine life. The best part is, if you are staying at Island T, which is only ~15 mins away by boat, you can stay on Malcapuya island later than all other tour groups who have to go back to Coron town. You will have the entire beach to yourself by late afternoon!

Banana Island

Banana island, with a beach shaped like a banana, is praised for its pristine, white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and a tranquil environment that’s less crowded than other tourist spots. It’s an ideal place for snorkeling, with healthy coral reefs and a rich marine biodiversity, or simply for unwinding amidst the natural beauty and serene atmosphere. If you are staying at Island T, which is only ~20 mins away from Banana Island, you can stay later than all other tour groups who have to go back to Coron town. You will have the beach to yourself by late afternoon!

Ditaytayan Island

Ditaytayan Island is a hidden gem in Coron known for its long, slender white sandbar stretching into the azure sea. It’s the perfect spot for those looking to escape to a serene and picturesque setting, ideal for leisurely walks along the sandbar, sunbathing, and taking in the panoramic views of the surrounding waters and islands.

Be wary of sand-flies that may bite especially during sunset. Wear insect repellant. If you are staying in Island T, which is onlt ~20 mins away, you can stay longer than other tour groups who have to travel back to coron town.
